Tokeijikake no Apocalypse // Zir Route

If you followed my tweeting on Zir’s route on twitter, you’re probably wondering what on earth was I screaming about. In that case, you’re in for a treat because I summarised in poor detail because it was so convoluted.

Courtesy of my Clown Friend

There’s so much I want to talk about, that I honestly have no clue where to begin but anyways…

He looks fine here, until you see his bottom half

Zir Hanisch (CV: Ono Kensho) is a strange resident of Latchia’s town. He hangs around her and acts like a child with little to no common sense but is very attached to her for reasons unknown. He spends his time drifting from place to place and even Latchia doesn’t really know much about him, except that he’s a nice™️ guy. By the way, his name is pronounced “Jiru” as in…Jill but for some reason it was romanised as Zir. Not the ugliest name in the game, that goes to Quat, but still getting there….

God what the hell is that

Onward, the game begins the same as Rudel’s route so refer to my previous summary of his route for the common part of the route.

Tokeijikake no Apocalypse // Liam Route

I was unsure if I should just bunch everyone else together in one post like I did for Enchante but after writing up the summary….yeah no. The post would end up too long.

At this point I’m already half way into the next route so I’m not sure how much of my so-called thoughts would be untainted by my impression of the next route.

Onward, the game begins the same as Rudel’s route so refer to my previous summary of his route for the common part of the route.

Liam, the non-Hemsworth one

Liam Jebram (CV: Hosoya Yoshimasa) is an acquaintance of Latchia’s. He works in the local bar as a rare professional pianist, having turned his back on his family’s traditional business of making and repairing instruments. He usually hangs around the bar with Quat and Amber, drinking and talking to them. Unfortunately he’s a bit of a flirt and very popular with the ladies but refuses to be tied down to them. A jack of all trades but master of none, in his own words.

Tokeijikake no Apocalypse // Rudel Route and Initial Thoughts

I’m back with a new game that I was heavily anticipating because of its theme and because my fellow clowns were  hyped up about it.

Tokeijikake no Apocalypse, or ‘A Clockwork Apocalypse’ as a rough English translation and TokiApo for short, was announced at the 2019 Otomate Party as being a game with the theme ‘starting from the bad end’, which, not gonna lie, is pretty damn cool. As more information was released….more and more of the game’s interest was overshadowed by the terrible art. However, that being said, the game does seem to have sort of overcome that with a decent first week sales volume.

Onward to the actual game.

TokiApo is set in a small underground city which is lit up by magical flames. Latchia Fielitz (part voice VA: Suzushiro Sayumi) is an orphaned 18 year old who has been living with her family friend Clino Giesbert and Clino’s son and childhood friend, Unka Giesbert (CV: Nogami Shou) while working at their bakery. Surrounded by her childhood friends Unka and Rudel Kruez (CV: Terashima Junta), she thought the happy quiet days would last forever. With the festival celebrating the magical flames approaching, Latchia is assigned to be the flame bearer (sort of like the Olympic torch bearer for the ceremony).

The story has a time loop and redo theme so those familiar with such stories can probably imagine how the game works. The story leading up to that point is minor spoilers so I’ll put it under the read more, so venture ahead cautiously. For those who don’t want spoilers and just want thoughts, skip ahead with the button below.

Yuiga Satoru // further on being the victim of tracing

As my previous post on the events surrounding Yuiga Satoru’s situation had gotten fairly long and a fairly lengthy period of time has passed, I’ve opted to use a separate post for further updates.

For those who have completely missed what was happening, refer to my original post here which details everything up until April 2020.

Did you think it would go away?

I missed this update because Yuiga hadn’t tweeted about her new blog post but I got a Curious Cat ask to translate the post.

So on the 31st of October, Yuiga updated her blog to reply to the messages that she had gotten over between June and July this year.

Below is my translation of the blog post
